Plain English, as promised

Privacy

Browse first. Share deliberately.

The short version: no advertising-cookie circus, no selling your email and no pretending a public chatbot is the right place for confidential business information.

Version 1.2 · Effective 2 September 2026

What happens here

Only the information
the job actually needs.

  1. 01

    Browsing

You can browse the public website and use the Business Pulse without giving us your name or email. We do not use advertising cookies or build a cross-site advertising profile.

  2. 02

    Basic measurement

We may use basic, aggregate information such as page visits, general referral source and time on the site to understand whether the website is useful. We do not deliberately join that activity to an email you submit.

  3. 03

    Email updates

If you deliberately subscribe, we keep your email address, consent record, signup source and—only when you ask to keep a Business Pulse outline—the generated bullet points. We use a specialist delivery provider to send the email you requested and occasional Quietly Better updates.

  4. 04

    Paid reports

Stripe handles report payments and collects the contact and business-identification details shown at checkout. After payment, any optional questionnaire answers you submit are kept while the report is prepared, delivered and reasonably followed up. Payment-card details stay with Stripe and are not received by Quietly Better.

  5. 05

    Business Pulse

Your selections are calculated in your browser. They are not sent to Quietly Better unless you deliberately submit the resulting outline with your email.

  6. 06

    Quietly Guide

The guide answers one brief public question before asking for a business-domain email. Chat text is not added to the mailing list. When the live AI connection is enabled, questions are sent securely to the model provider without enabling response storage; provider safety retention may still apply.

  7. 07

    Security

Automated screening may use a connection address temporarily to slow abuse, but it is not added to your subscriber record. Ordinary cloud service logs may also be retained for reliability and security.

  8. 08

    Your choice

Every site-generated customer email includes a visible unsubscribe link and the standard one-click unsubscribe control recognised by modern inboxes. Unsubscribing stops optional updates; essential delivery for something you bought or specifically requested may still be sent. You can also ask to see, correct or delete information associated with your email by contacting Richard.

  9. 09

    Common sense

Please do not enter confidential client, employee, financial, health or security information into the public Business Pulse or Quietly Guide.

Contact and removal

Your email remains yours.

Use the one-click link in any email to unsubscribe immediately. To correct an address, request deletion or ask a privacy question, email richard@quietlybetter.co. We will deal with a reasonable request directly rather than sending you through a maze of support departments that do not exist.
